3:45pm – 6:00pm.

Students not picked up by 3:45pm will be charged for afternoon extended care.

Any children in or on the school premises during Extended Care hours and not in the company of a parent/guardian will be placed in the Extended Care program.

Parents are asked to pick-up/sign out students by blue doors on Lazarus St. at end of school building. When ringing for entrance, please stand outside blue doors so that a U.C.A. staff may identify you.

Children will only be released to parents or persons designated by the parent on the Student’s Emergency Information Form/Enrollment Form. Students will only be released to individuals 18 years and older unless other parental permission is on file.

Staff members will ask parents and persons picking up children for identification until they become familiar with faces. We ask your cooperation and patience. Please know that our concern is for your child’s safety. If a change needs to be made, we ask your cooperation in contacting the U.C.A. Office immediately.

If for some reason someone other than those on the list will be picking up your child, please notify the School Office and Extended Care in writing (email is fine). This individual will be asked for identification upon arrival. A child will not be released to anyone not on the list without written notification. Please note that these measures help protect the students and are required by law.

Statements will be sent home by the school office with each student at the beginning of every month. Each family will be charged for the previous month on their monthly statement.

$4.00 per hour/per child

Students will not be allowed in Extended Care when an account is delinquent more than one month.

Students participating in extra-curricular activities will be placed in Extended Care 5 minutes after their activity has ended if not picked up.

Students who stay for sports’ practice, or games, must remain in Extended Care until picked up by parent/guardian. All students are restricted to school property during school hours and practice times (unless involved in previously approved off-campus activity). Law holds us responsible for safety of children as long as they are involved in any school activity. Students are expected at all times to exhibit a Christian attitude toward their teacher and fellow students as well as to all adults.

Students being picked up after 6:00pm will be assessed a LATE FEE of $10.00 for each fifteen minutes after 6:00pm. This fee will be included in your regular monthly billing.

Upon arrival to Extended Care the daily schedule is as follows:

UCA provides healthy snacks and juice for children attending Extended Care after school. If a child prefers, s/he may bring a healthy snack from home to eat during Extended Care hours. Please note that snack is served until 5:00pm. Students coming to Extended Care after this time will need to provide their own snack.
